Welcome to Flint River Presbytery! We are 50 Congregations with 6,133 plus members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in southwest Georgia (from Forsyth in the north, to Columbus and the Alabama line, southward to the Florida line, and then back up interstate I-75 to Forsyth). The Presbytery office is located in Albany, the geographic center of the Presbytery.
Our Mission Statement reads: Flint River Presbytery is a vibrant, connected, and committed body of Georgia Congregations responding to God's call to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ; to nurture congregations and their leaders; and to equip churches for ministry and mission.
Flint River Presbytery serves as a connection and a resource for its member congregations; and, as a community of congregations, enables, assists and guides its members as they accomplish their mission as individual congregations and as part of the larger church that is the presbytery.
