Youth Council

Serving on the Flint River presbytery Youth Council is a unique way for youth and adults to gain Christ-centered leadership skills, build community within FRP, and learn more about the Presbyterian Church (USA), and discern the ways in which the Holy Spirit calls us to grow in faith, hope and love.

The Flint River Presbytery Youth Council is made up of students in 9th – 12th grades that wish to serve the church on a larger scale. Youth Council meets at least four times a year – usually in conjunction with an event such as Fall Youth Overnight.

Youth are selected and approved by each church session to represent. Youth serve for a one year term and can be reappointed by their church to continue to serve.
