Agnes Scott College (Decatur, GA) – Agnes Scott College Presbyterian Scholarship: $10,000 per year based on academic achievement and leadership in the Presbyterian Church
Alma College (Alma, MI) – (1) Alma College Religious Leadership Award: Up to $1,000 per year based on church involvement and leadership. (2) Dependents of Presbyterian ministers automatically receive one-third tuition through a combination of scholarships and grants.
Austin College (Sherman, TX) – Sara Bernice Moseley Fellowships and Scholarships for Outstanding Presbyterian Students: $1,000 – $5,000 per year for students with records of academic achievement who are members of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Belhaven College (Jackson, MS) – Church Matching Grant: Up to $500 per year based on letter of intent to participate in the program from the student’s home church.
College of Wooster (Wooster, OH) – Covenant Scholarship: $9,000 – $15,000 per year to students who are communicant members of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and who demonstrate a record of academic achievement, involvement and leadership in their church and commitment to continuing that involvement at the college.
Davis and Elkins College (Elkins, W VA) – (1) Presbyterian Leaders Scholarship: for incoming students who commit to a leadership role in the campus ministry program. (2) Covenant Scholarship: Worth one-half tuition for children of ministers currently serving the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Davidson College (Davidson, NC) – Julian & Robert J. Lake Scholarship: $15,000 for children of Presbyterian Church (USA) clergy. One per year.
Eckerd College (St. Petersburg, FL) – Church and Campus Scholarship: Need-based scholarship awarded to Presbyterian Church members base on church and community involvement.
Hanover College (Hanover, Inc.) – Church and Scholarship: $2,000 – $6,000 per year to students who demonstrate character, leadership, academic ability and the promise of becoming outstanding Christian leaders. Recipients must be recommended by a minister, youth director or lay leader.
Hastings College (Hastings, NE) – (1) Kessler Scholarship: Full-tuition scholarship based on superior academic achievement and outstanding potential for Christian leadership. Students must minor in Christian ministry and participate in the Christian Ministry Program. Three per year. (2) Children of ministers actively employed by a Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation or program receive $2,000 per year. (3) Presbyterian Matching Grant: Up to $500 for students receiving assistance from a Presbyterian Church.
University of Jamestown (Jamestown, ND) – Presbyterian Pastors Scholarship: $500 per year for children of Presbyterian parents.
Lees-McRae College (Banner Elk, NC) – (1) Robert C. & Sadie G. Anderson Foundation Scholarship: Awarded to a female Presbyterian student based on financial need and academic training. (2) Missionary Emergency Fund Scholarship: Available to children of ministers or those involved in missionary work, or for students preparing to enter into Christian service. (3) Frank & Annie Belle Perry Scholarship: Given to students studying religion or intending to enter Christian ministry.
Maryville University (Maryville, TN) – (1) Isaac Anderson Fellowship for Church Leadership: $18,000 per year for students who meet academic and program participation requirements. (2) Church and College Leadership Scholarship: Up to $13,000 per year for students who are active members of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Montreat College (Montreat, NC) – (1) Minister’s Child Scholarship: $1,000. (1) Church Matching Grant: Up to $1,000 for students receiving assistance from a local church.
Muskingum University (New Concord, OH) – (1) Presbyterian Student Grant: $1,000 per year to Presbyterian students in good standing. (2) Clergy Grant: $1,000 per year to children of ordained Presbyterian Church (USA) ministers who are engaged in full-time church work.
Presbyterian College (Clinton, SC) – Presbyterian Church (USA) Academic Scholarship: $20,000 per year for students who are Presbyterian Church (USA) members and meet academic requirements. Two per year.
Queens University of Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) — Ministerial Tuition Remission: 15% – 20% of tuition for dependents and spouses of active Presbyterian ministers.
Rhodes College (Memphis, TN) — Presbyterian Partnership: Up to $2,000 in matching funds for students receiving assistance from a local church.
Rocky Mountain College (Billings, MT) – Church Matching Funds: Up to $500 per year for students receiving funds from a local church.
Schreiner University (Kerrville, TX) – Presbyterian Heritage Grant: $1,000 per year for Presbyterian students nominated by a Presbyterian pastor.
University of Dubuque (Dubuque, IA) – Clergy Grants: For children of ordained ministers.
University of the Ozarks (Clarksville, AR) – (1) Scholarships for Presbyterian Youth: $1,500 per year for Presbyterian students recommended by a pastor, youth leader or elder. (2) Scholarships for children of Presbyterian ministers: One half the cost of tuition for children of Presbyterian ministers within the Synod of the Sun, who meet academic requirements.
University of Tulsa (Tulsa, OK) – (1) Presbyterian Leadership Scholarship: $6,000 per year for students recommended by their home church, who meet academic requirements. (2) Robert C. Sharp and Josephine P. Sharp Presidential Scholarships: full tuition for students who meet academic requirements. Priority given to Presbyterian students. (3) Sharp Family Trustee Scholarships: full tuition for students who meet academic requirements. Priority given to Presbyterian students.
Warren Wilson College (Asheville, NC) – (1) Presbyterian Matching Grant: Up to $1,000 in matching funds for students receiving assistance from a Presbyterian church. (2) Presbyterian Minister Grant: $1,000 per year for dependents of Presbyterian ministers. www.warren-wilson.edu
Waynesburg University (Waynesburg, PA) – Professional Christian Ministry Scholarship: $2,000 per year for pre-ministerial majors.
Westminster College (New Wilmington, PA) – Young Presbyterian Scholarship: $15,000 per year given to any Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation for a student who is an active member and meets academic requirements.
Whitworth College (Spokane, WA) — Church Matching Scholarship: Up to $500 per year for students receiving assistance from a Christian church.
Wilson College (Chambersburg, PA) – Presbyterian Student Tuition Scholarship: $1,000 per year for students who are active members of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Financial aid is also available through the Presbyterian Church (USA) for Presbyterian students including the National Presbyterian College Scholarship ($200 – 1,400), the Samuel Robinson Scholarship (for juniors and seniors; amounts vary) and the Student Opportunity Scholarship (racial ethnic students in certain academic majors).
